About the Author
Dr. V. P. Singh is a Medicolegal Expert and Associate Professor (Forensic Medicine)
at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital. He is qualified in both Medicine and Law.
He did his M.B.B.S. and M.D. in Forensic Medicine from GMC Patiala and LL.B. from
UILS, Punjab University. He has completed Certificate Courses in Medical Laws and
Healthcare Quality Management, PGD Medico-legal System. Dr. Singh has made contributions
to a book, “Legal Issues in Medical Practice, Medico-legal Guidelines for Safe Practice”.
